For our customer ELVAC EKOTECHNIKA s.r.o., we designed and delivered the mechanical section of an RCO unit (regenerative catalytic oxidizer), which serves to remove volatile organic compounds (VOC) from exhaust gases. This technology achieves a cleaning efficiency of over 99% and was installed during the last few days of October for the end customer in Slovakia.
This technology is suitable for cleaning exhaust gases with low to medium VOC content, i.e. approx. 0.3-3 g/m3. In terms of volume, the amount of purified air is up to tens of thousands of m3/h. Typical sources of such emissions are paint shops, surface treatments for materials and products, and production processes found in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
